Abstract
Unfocused administration and poor management would impair and mar the success of any programme no matter how well conceived its objectives or how well prepared and equipped its participants. This seems to be the case with the ills observable in the operation of Engineering Education and Technology in the Tertiary Institutions at this moment in Nigeria. This paper discusses how this defect crept into the training of our Engineers and technologists and proffers solution as to how this malaise can be successfully tackled within the Nigerian national framework for training high-level technical manpower.
