This is in spite of the risky sexual and reproductive health practices associated with undergraduates. This cross national study examines sexual and reproductive health behavior and needs of undergraduates in universities in Ghana and Nigeria. Using a sample of 1142 undergraduates, the study identifies the attitude of undergraduates to multiple partnerships, unprotected sex and use of university medical centre. It also examines their perception of, and response to violence. The study finds that Ghanaian and Nigerian students are not significantly different in their sexual practices. The differences recorded in sexual behavior and needs are defined more by gender than country. The study discusses implications of findings for policy and provision of programmes and sexual and reproductive health services on campus.
