S.; Ayano, A.S.; 0ke, SThe curriculum for technical vocational education is developed to offer a complete secondary education subject in addition to occupational area. The major purpose of the study was to determine the implementation of senior secondary school technical vocational education curriculum as a mode of exigent economic global crisis in south west Nigeria. The study employed a survey research design. The population of the study consisted of 200 respondents. Two research questions were formulated, mean and standard deviation was employed to answer the research question, and t-test statistics was employed to test the hypotheses Questionnaire containing 30 items was designed and used for data collection. A five point rating scale was used for the purpose of collecting data for the study. The instrument was subjected to face and content validity by two lecturers from science and technology education university of Lagos, and a director from technical education board Lagos state. The reliability coefficient for the study was 0.89 using cronbach alpha reliability tests. It was found out that effectiveness of any curriculum or the ease of its implementation largely depends on how curriculum controls (time available, space, facilities, personnel, (teaching and ancillary staff) and finance were accounted for during development and implementation. It was recommended that NBTE should ensure that proper accreditation is carried out regularly for effective implementation of TVE programme
