Antimicrobial and cytotoxic activities of the fruit essential oil of Xylopia aethiopica from Nigeria.

The fruits essential oil of Xylopia aethiopica showed activity against four microorganisms and cytotoxicity to carcinoma cells (Hep-2 cell line) at 5 mgyml concentration.
