Abstract
This paper examines the relationship between strategic control and corporate entrepreneurship in the manufacturing industry in Nigeria. A survey research method was used to generate data from a sample of manufacturing firms in Nigerian on strategic control and corporate entrepreneurship variables. Responses from the survey were statistically analysed using descriptive statistics, product moment correlation, regression analysis and Ztest (approximated with the independent sample t-test). The findings of the study show that there is a statistical significant relationship between strategic control and corporate entrepreneurship as well as a significant difference between the entrepreneurship of firms whose strategic control are low and the entrepreneurship of firms whose strategic control are high. These findings have practical applications for manufacturing firms that are attempting to become more entrepreneurial, and will also help researchers to better understand the relationship between strategic control and corporate entrepreneurship.
