dc.description.abstractThe microfinance sub-sector in Nigeria is faced with many challenges. Due to the large number of MFBs, it has been a challenge for regulators to provide strict and close supervision of their activities. However all hands must be on deck to ensure that the institutions arc cfficicmly run by surmounting the challenges and exploit the prospects, because microfinancc provides a credible platform for the eradication of the poverty and economic development of the nation.en_US
