dc.description.abstractThis study was undertaken to find out the possible influence cf formal education on the Nigerian women's attitude to family planning. A total 1030 women (528 with formal education and 502 without formal education) formed the subject of this study. lndependent T-Test analysis of the data collected through the questionnaire resulted in the rejection of all the three null hypotheses tested for in the study. Women with formal education chose to have fewer number of children by embracing family planning more than those without formal education. The counselling implications were discussed.en_US
