| dc.description.abstract | Russian literature was influenced by Western ideas after the of his writers left for Europe. Most of them found in France especially in Paris a new home which enabled them to express themselves without any hindrance. Also it is, important to note that during this period many,Russian writers were influenced by the West. One of such writers is Fyodor Dostoyevsky. Crime and Punishment is Dostoyevskys novel that brought him to limelight. As a result, there have been many adaptations of the novel into films and plays. | en_US |
