Abstract
The paper looked at entrepreneurship and vocational/technical education,' it explains meaning of technical/vocational education, entrepreneurship, roles of entrepreneurship in economic development, technical vocational education and economic development, it further explains nature of entrepreneurship in technical /vocational education programme, it equally recognise capital formation for technical/vocational entrepreneurship, paper equally discussed teaching entrepreneurship in technical/vocational education through work based learning, and entrepreneurship learning environment., Paper recommends that curriculum used for technical/vocational students should be tailored towards production which will specify the kind of materials that must be produced and be taught basic rules, methods and application of materials at their disposal for useful purposes, government should be properly advised to se! aside some money each year for financing technical/vocational graduates wlio intend lO float their own business. The fund is necessary for qualified beneficiaries to procure capital items and meeting working expenses and technical/vocational teachers should ensure that teaching is planned and supervised connection of classroom experiences with the expectations
