Computer-Based Testing (CBT) is a method of administering tests in which the responses are electronically recorded, assessed, or both. Universities are increasingly adopting computer-based test to replace the paper-based test for academic assessment of students. This study examined lecturers' and students' factors that predict their level of acceptance. The sample for this study comprises 850 lecturers and 1,506 undergraduates from four selected Nigerian universities. Data were collected through a questionnaire. The result shows that perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use correlated with the perceived credibility of the factors that predicts lecturers and students use of computer-based test. Based on these findings, it was concluded that CBT has matured and is no longer a new frontier in Nigerian universities as most universities now make use of CBT.
