Thefocus of this paper ison the 'improvement of human capital development via various decision making strategies in any viable sports organization in Nigeria, for effective and efficient performance of sports managers, sports administrators as well as sports personnel's in any viable sports organization, the paper therefore discusses the nature, the concept and the rudiment involved in the staffing process in sports organization ,it also dwells extensively on the effective and modern methods of recruitments, selection and placement processes in sports organization, finally the paper recommends in strong terms the need for personnel management and, personnel training o.'n:the job, the importance of training and retraining while on the job and how right decision can influence efficient job performance of sports personnel for better results and good job performance in sports organizations in Nigeria
