dc.description.abstract | Hydramnios {or polyhydramnios) means excess of amniotic fluid ( or liquor amnii). The average volume of amniotic fluid at term is about 800ml ( range: 400-1500ml). Any volume above the upper limit of normal is decribed as excessive. Clinically, volumes above 2000ml are palpably obvious as cases of polyhyramnios. | en_US |
