Abstract
This paper analyses Olu Obafemi Dramaturgy using New Historical Criticism. The thesis of this paper is that beyond the Marxist/ Socialist content of Obafemis plays, as part of his asthetic vision, he also uses them to advocate for the national unity of the nation state.
