dc.description.abstract | GENERAL INTRODUCTION What is National Development? The term “national development” refers to the improvement of a country in all areas, including the political, economic, social, cultural, scientific, and material spheres. It is a process of reconstruction and development in various dimensions of a nation and the development of individuals. It is the general improvement of a nation to raise the standard of living for a population. There cannot be any meaningful national development without the availability of natural resources. What is Sustainability? Sustainability means meeting our own needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. In addition to natural resources, we also need social and economic resources. There are four (4) types of sustainability as indicated below. | |
