Majority of the patients (86%) were below 40 years while 38% were in their 3 decade of life. Bivariate analysis showed a statistically significant difference between the age of male and female patients (t=-2.87, df=203.0, p=0.0045).Most (61%) of the patients were diagnosed with dental caries while 26.3% had periodontal diseases. Surgical procedure was the major treatment option utilized by most patients (58.5%) while 22.9% had periodontal trailing. Specifically, 55.6% of the patients had tooth extraction. The study demonstrated a significant association between gender and age of patients: The present study found a male preponderance, and also revealed that majority of the patients presented with dental caries, while the principal dental treatment performed were surgical procedures mostly extractions.
