This stutfy was carried oul=f,jofind out the level of preparedness of undergraduates/or school-workplace transition in an era of technology advanceme11~.:A descriptive survey design was adoit~d to carry out the study. One hundred and forty [!4P) participants in their final year undergraduate class were selected as participants in the study. A 12' item researcher constructed questionnaire was usedfor the stutfy. Three research hypotheses were.raised to guide the"stutfy. Independent t-tesi and ANO VA statistical tools were used to analyse the data collectedat 0.05 level of significance.The results revealed~ significant difference in the level of preparedness of undergraduates for school-workplace transition. Gender and age however did not significantlY affect the level of prepared1tess 'of undergraduates for scbool-woreplace transition in an era of technology advancement. Recommendations made based on the findings, include the need for early exposure of undergraduates to the various technology tools that are being developed on a dailY basis. They should also be encouragedto imbibe the skills and conducts that might not be taught in school but are relevant in the workplace, to prepare them for school-workplace tr~nsition and unemployment' issues in an era of technology advancement. | en_US |
