Leadership in all sectors of the economy bas been of concern to schools as especially ill the quest to enhance effectiveness. This bas become most important in Nigerian educational system especially as the society frowns at:the progressive deterioration in educational standard. Peretomode (1991) opined that: leadership in educational administration bas far-reaching effects on the accomplishment of school programmes, objectives and the attainment of educational goals. In the School system the leadership function is performed by the principals.
