dc.description.abstract | The discourse looks into who an adult educator is and what is expected of him. Many people in the industry hardly recognize that they even fall into the category of an adult educator. Several studies also indicate that many are not fully aware of what is involved in being an adult educator. Majority did not believe that they needed extra training to handle adult learners. This erroneous belief has tremendous impact on the way adult education is practiced. Several recommendations were made and the necessity to train adult educators appropriately was re-emphasized. | en_US |
