dc.description.abstractThis study investigated the influence of organizational change on employees’ effectiveness in sports organization. The descriptive survey research method was adopted by the researcher for this study. The population of this study consisted of Sports Administrators, Managers and Coaches, across various Football clubs in Lagos. The sample used for this study consisted of two hundred and forty-five (245) administrators in Lagos State sports commission and 145 administrators and staffs from Lagos Country Club, Ikeja. They were selected through the purposive sampling technique. This gives a total sample size of 390 samples. A self-structured questionnaire was used to provide the desired information needed for the study. A total of 390 copies of the questionnaire were administered on the sample respondents selected for this study. The researcher distributed copies of the questionnaire to the respondents at Lagos Country Club, Ikeja. The feedback of the respondents was used to develop a frequency and percentage distribution table for analysis. Graphical representation of bar charts was also used for the demographic data presentation. The inferential statistics of Chi-square was used to test all stated hypothesis at 0.05 level of significance with the help of Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS Statistics 21.0 software). Data analysis revealed that managers’ capability, organizational policies, organizational culture, total quality management and Reengineering process significantly influences on employees’ effectiveness in sports organization. The study recommended that private and public sports clubs should ensure only capable managers are used in other to foster employees’ effectiveness in sports organization
