dc.description.abstract | The need to plan for quality education in any nation cannot be overemphasized. When education is adequately planned, it is seen as a vehicle which accelerates structural integration of a plural society by equalizing occupational and economic opportunities. In Nigeria, educational planning has not achieved much in terms of promoting national development due to myriad of influencing factors which the educational system has been faced with since independence. It is in this connection that this chapter discussed problems associated with effective educational planning in Nigeria. | en_US |
