dc.description.abstractAn analytical model for determining the shielding effectiveness of planar multi-layer shields for oblique incidence of the interfering signal, by matching the plane wave boundary conditions at the shield discontinuities is presented. It is demonstrated that the analytical method developed implicitly accounts for multiple reflections that are associated with planar multi-layered shields. An expression is developed for shielding effectiveness in terms of the angle of incidence and the constitutive parameters of the materials from which the shield is constructed.en_US
