Abstract
Samaru Journal of Information Studies (SnS) is a research-based journal of the Department of Library and Information Science, Faculty of Education Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, published bi-annual or annually in the month of July and December by the Department of Library and Information Sciences. The journal accepts articles from all scholars, irrespective of country or institution. The focus of the Journal is research, with a bias for quantitative and qualitative studies that use any or a combination of the acceptable methods of research. These include Surveys, Content Analysis, and Experiments for quantitative studies; and Observation, Interviews/Focus Groups, and Documentary Analysis for qualitative studies. The aim of the journal is to contribute to the body of knowledge in the field of library and information science, archival and records management, publishing and copyright studies, mass communication and other related disciplines. The journal therefore welcomes empirical studies in all the areas highlighted above for publication consideration.
