Flooding and erosion phenomenon is a major environmental problem prevalent in the rainforest region of Nigeria. The need to develop appropriate models to control the menace of the phenomenon is informed by the high demand for land and the increasing incidents of flooding and erosion in some parts of the country. Whatever model is to be adopted, its effectiveness depends on the contributions from geodetic measurement data. Once relevant data from geodetic and other sources have been obtained, the desired model can be developed using least squares approximation technique.en_US
