dc.description.abstractThe aim of this study was to determine the effect of a 12-week circuit strength training programme on body composition variables of college men. The participants for the study consisted 42 men, aged between eighteen and thirty years, who were randomly divided into two equal groups, 21 in the experimental group and 21 in the control group. Only the experimental group was exposed to the 12-week circuit strength training programme. Three hypotheses were formulated and tested to determine the significance of the treatment effect on the selected variables. Descriptive statistics of mean, standard deviation and range were used to describe the data. Inferential statistics of independent 't' test was used to compare both groups to see if any significant difference exists between them The result obtained showed that there was no significant difference in body weight, lean body weight and percent body fat between the control and experimental groups after the treatmenten_US
