Abstract
The study examined technology lecturers' attitudes towards information and communication. technologies in the colleges of education in south-west Nigeria. Also influence of the lecturers' age, gender, lCT access, computer experience, and ways of learning to use ICT on attitudes towards ICT were determined. A survey design was adopted. The respondents for the study consisted of ninety-five (95) technology lecturers. A questionnaire was used to collect data. Mean, standard deviation, and analysis of variance were used to analyze the data collected~ The study found out that technology lecturers have positive attitudes towards ICT but have no confidence in using ICT. Computer experience, access to ICT and ways. of learning to use ICT were found to influence technology lecturers' attitudes towards
ICT. Consequently, the study recommended among others that government and administrators of colleges of education' in Nigeria should work out modalities to provide more K'T equipment to the institutions and organize in-service training
focusing on pedagogical use of lCT for technology lecturers .
