N For my audience to fully understand this lecture, there is a need for me to shed some light on the keywords of this lecture. To this end, we need to know what is model, catalyst, system and decision. Models: A model, as used in operations research, is a representative of an actual object or situation, usually smaller than the original object it represents. It shows the relationship (direct and indirect) and inter-relationship of the various parts of units of the entity it represents, as well as the action and reaction in terms of cause and effect. Catalyst: A catalyst is a substance that speeds up chemical reactions without really affecting the end result of the process or change itself
