Public-private partnerships are the way many social services are funded in Nigeria today to meet the infrastructure gap which the government alone cannot meet. This model has been able to turn around some parts of the healthcare sector when properly designed, executed, and monitored. The federal and state government are promoting this new method of expanding and maintaining infrastructure in the healthcare sector by tapping into the resources of the private sector and providing the framework for profitable investment with well-articulated government policies. This paper highlights the success stories and helps new entrants to understand how and where to invest in the Nigerian health sector.en_US
