The paper analyzed the extent of inclusiveness of the growth of the Nigerian economy. The paper adopted simple econometric techniques and new measures of inclusive growth by generating a unique index of inclusiveness from the three conventional measures of inclusive growth. Based on the Granger causality tests, the paper found that economic growth in Nigeria did not help in reducing poverty and inequality. It was also found to have little linkage with industrialization, hence economic growth has not been a good measure of economic development. More importantly, inclusive growth and industrialization were found to be causally related, and industrialization impacted negatively on poverty incidence and inequality which is consistent with the argument that policies that promote industrialization can also help in alleviating poverty and reducing inequality in Nigeriaen_US
