Abstract
The aim of the study was to determine the effects of inactivity on selected body composition variables of college men and women. The participants were male and female students of college of education, Ikere-Ekiti. The participants for this study consisted of twenty one men and twenty two women aged between eighteen and thirty years who were randomly * selected-participated in the study. Three hypothesis, were formulated and tested to determine the significance of inactivity effect on the selected variables. Descriptive statistics of mean, standard deviation and range was used to describe the data. Inferential statistics of independent't' test was used to compare both groups to see if any significant difference exists between them. The result obtained showed that there was significant difference in body weight, lean body weight and percent body fact befaveen men and women participants after the study.
