dc.description.abstract | The education system currently battles with several issues especially in this era of dwindling revenue. Globalization also exerts serious influence on educational institutions and these organizations are left with no choice other than struggle to overcome competition. This has necessitated the need for innovative skills as a strong force to overcome these challenges and provide qualitative education to the teeming population. The increasing competition has made organizations clamor for innovative skills as it is the key to its continuous existence. Organizations have realized innovation has a potential role to play in strengthening their development. Innovation is believed to be a key driver of economic growth because it involves the creation, dissemination, and application of knowledge that are major engine of economic expansion. Innovation is today the crucial source of effective competition, of economic growth, and of the transformation of society because it does not suffer from diminishing returns. | en_US |
