dc.description.abstractDomestic violence has been a recurring phenomenon in the society from the time immemorial. Adding salt on the injuries of the victims is the fact that it seemingly looks as if there is no way out of this doldrums. This paper therefore, examines the role of library for the victims of domestic violence. Questionnaires were administered on 30 victims of domestic violence and the findings are revealing. The causes of domestic violence mid the desire to be enlightened and find succour for the victims were parts of the findings.en_US
