Abstract
Health may be seen as a state of outright freedom from disease and danger enhanced by the ability of an individual to receive, comprehend and utilise health information. Achieving good health requires deliberate effort being made by knowledgeable and certified health educators to disseminate health information for the purpose of empowering vulnerable groups especially young children, pregnant women, elderly and persons in special needs to initiate and make positive decisions concerning their personal health including the health of their significant others
