dc.description.abstractPrinciple of impeachments in the public office in the democratic government could be traced to the constitutional theory of the United States of America in 1789. Prior to the time when this principle of impeachment was embodies in the constitution of the United States of American, this principle of impeachment from public office has been in existence in the Islamic political system in the far away Arabian peninsular in the seventh century of gregorian calendar. As a result of this development, this paper tries to discuss the principle of impeachment in the public office in the perspective of Islam.en_US
