Abstract
The justification for this study is that, despite the effort of many Islamic scholars to distinguish Islamic research methods from the conventional ones, the level of its development cannot provide us with a presentable Islamic-based research methodology for Islamic sciences in our universities. While some scholars submitted that the foremost Muslim scholars developed the conventional methods and should just be streamlined to fit for academic use in Islamic sciences, others affirmed that the divine theory benchmarking the original method has been expunged from it. This study presents the means of infusing the divine approach into the conventional research methods. Using the inductive method and analogy, the paper establishes a theoretical framework as a basic component of any research endeavor and proves that only research methods sourced from or in tandem with divine ethos could solve man's problems. The discourse finally prepares a template for integrating the "Theo-theoretical framework" into the conventional research methods.
