Abstract
On behalf of Senate, management, staff and students of the University of Lagos, the University of First Choice and the Nation's Pride, I welcome you all. Let me first welcome the lucky parents/guardians of our graduating students, to the Day Two of the 2013/2014 Convocation Ceremonies for the award of Diploma, Certificates, Degrees and Prizes of our great University.
I specially welcome His Excellency, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Visitor, University of Lagos, Dr. Goodluck Ebele [onathan, GCFR;to the University of Lagos. Let me use this auspicious occasion to specially congratulate and welcome the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Governing Council of the University, Professor Jerry Gana, OFR, and other members of the Governing Council of our great institution. The Management of the University thanks Mr. President for giving us a distinguished academic and seasoned administrator, Professor Gana, to steer the ship of this University upon the departure of another great administrator and technocrat, Deacon Gamaliel O.Onasode.
