Abstract
This review paper centers on answering questions on Pharmacogenomics and pharmacogenetics with a view of elucidating the promises, applications, limitations, challenges and the future of pharmacogenomics. It concludes with correlating the pharmaceutical sciences with human genome that gave rise to pharmcogenomics with a view to making chemists to be able to design better drugs more quickly and biochemists as well as pharmacologists able to interpret their biological assays more meaningfully and clinicians prescribing medications that are better, safer and more effective.
