Abstract
Sustainable development can be defined as development that satisfies the necessities of today without neglecting the potentials of tomorrow’s generations to meet their needs (Patrick, Enakshi and Mandla (2018). Sustainable development goals comprise all the seventeen agenda hoped to be achieved by the year 2030. However, the sustainable development goals this study focuses on are the goals one, two and eight, which are: to put an end to poverty, to reduce hunger to zero level, and to promote economic growth, ensure productive employment and decent work for all (Osman, Ladhani, Findlater and Mickay, 2017). These three SDGs were selected because they are the common outcomes of unemployment problems in the society which Business Education programme is meant to solve through entrepreneurship empowerment that emanates from functional curriculum and experiential pedagogical strategies. The essence of sustainable development goals is to end poverty and hunger, and bring economic prosperity, social inclusion, and environmental sustainability alongside meeting other most pressing needs of the world, most especially in the developing countries (Osman, et al, 2017).
