dc.description.abstract | Corporate social responsibility (CSR) has become a very important issue in both private and public sector in addressing the issue of improving employees' wellbeing and society as a '. ha ·G. Besides, without the understanding of the CSR on employees' attitude and behaviour, r: • 1 conclusions regarding the utility or impact of CSR on employees' attitude and oenavio accrue. The study investigated corporate social responsibility practices on emnlovee ' engagement behaviour. Descriptive research design was used. The population of ists of all full time employees of MTN and Airtel operators in Lagos State. The samp.e ~ . this study consi led of 200 full time employees, randomly drawn from MTN and Airtet mo ile communication operators in Lagos State. A self constructed questionnaire with me reliability coefficient of 0.69 ..v..as the major instrument used for data collection. Three research questions were answered using, frequency count and mean while the three hypotheses were tested and analysed with inferential statistical tool of ANOVA at 0.05 level of significance. The findings revealed that CSR practices have significant influence on . employees' engagement and behaviour. CSR practices have impact on the quality of services rendered by M'TN and Airtet employees. Based on the findings, it was recommended that organisations, institutions, firms and business should take action on CSR practices to retain and engage the best employees. In addition, the CSR practices should be improved and expanded as it is being practiced in developed economies. | en_US |
