Abstract
Educational programme implementation is the most difficult aspect of change. This is because majority of the school principals and teachers who are to implement the curriculum were not involved in the planning stage. This paper therefore discussed the state of curriculum Implementation and Evaluation in Nigeria with special reference to Science, Mathematics, Technology and Teacher Education Curricula. It identified some obstacles to effective implementation and evaluation of the 6-3-3-4 system and also discussed the expected duties of the school principals in the implementation of the new system of education.
