Abstract
This study was carried out to examine the perception of secondary school Teachers as facilitators by their Principals. Also the perception of the Teachers themselves regarding their role as facilitators. The study was carried out in Lagos and had 35 Principals and 280 Teachers as subjects. No significant difference was recorded between the male and female Principals perception of their Teachers as facilitators. However, a significant difference was observed between the Principals and the Teachers perception of Teachers as facilitators with Teachers scoring themselves higher as facilitators. Implications for better Teachers motivation were discussed.
