dc.description.abstract | A study of values and virtues, particularly, in/of a profession is a study of ethical requirements/standards of such profession. Ethics generally is concerned with the basic constructs of morality such as rightness, goodness, duty, responsibility, justice, virtue, and conscience. This study takes a critical look into the values and virtues of journalism practice in Nigeria. The conclusion of the study is that journalism values and virtues in Nigeria are almost not real.
