dc.description.abstractA study of values and virtues, particularly, in/of a profession is a study of ethical requirements/standards of such profession. Ethics generally is concerned with the basic constructs of morality such as rightness, goodness, duty, responsibility, justice, virtue, and conscience. This study takes a critical look into the values and virtues of journalism practice in Nigeria. The conclusion of the study is that journalism values and virtues in Nigeria are almost not real. This is because journalism practice in Nigeria subscribed and practices favoritisms as and when situations require/demanden_US
