The Academic Staff Union of Universities of Nigeria had an agreement with the Federal Government, part of which led to the introduction of a 2% Education Tax on assessable corporate profit. . established in 1993 by Decree 7 1993 as Education Tax Fund with a mandate to use funding and project management from the 2% Education Tax charged on assessable corporate profit of all registered companies in Nigeria to supplement budgetary allocations for interventions at all levels of education in Nigeria. | en_US |
