Abstract
This study has attempted to examine the socio-economic and demographic characteristics of the survey population (migrants and non-migrants), identify the factors that influence non-mobility among the non-migrants and the motivations for migration among migrants (push and pull factors), identify the different patterns of migration into the survey areas as displayed by the migrants through the use of their migration histories.
