Abstract
The paper examined the role of banks in property development finance in Lagos State. The study administered questionnaires on all the twenty-five (25) universal banks in the study area. The total response was 15(60%). Statistical tools employed in analysing the data were frequency tables, percentages as well as relative importance index.
