This paper examined the problems and prospects of computer education in Lagos State Secondary Schools. Sample schools were drawn from some selected Local Education Districts. Five hypotheses were developed 10 test the availability of computer-trained personnel, utilisation of computer system in schools and the importance attached to Computer Studies. The main instrument used was a questionnaire. Data collected were analysed using Chi-squared statistics. The result of the study revealed that the Lagos State Secondary Schools are yet to implement the new policy on computer education due to lack of computer set and qualified manpower to handle the system. The study suggested that government should ensure that all schools commence computer studies immediately.
