Abstract
The study examined relationship between the School Principal’s leadership behaviour and the Counsellors’ morale. Forty-eight Principals and 53 School Counsellors chosen from Lagos State Secondary Schools formed the sample for the study. The finding revealed a significant relationship between the School Principal’s leadership behaviour and the Counsellors’ morale. A significant difference was observed between the morale of Counsellors working with male Principals compared to those working with female Principals. It was concluded that the interaction process that between the individuals within the school system determine to a large extent the success of failure of the educational system. Such interaction could be between the Principal/Vice Principal/Teachers, Principal/School Counsellor, Teacher/Teacher, Teacher/Students or Students/Students etc.
